Frequently asked

How often will my vessel be cleaned under an agreement?
Cleaning frequency is determined when we set up your agreement based on your vessel's location, usage, and bottom paint type. Most customers in Charleston waters opt for monthly or every 6-week cleanings. We'll recommend what makes sense for your situation.
What does the 15% discount apply to?
The discount applies to the base hull cleaning rate for all scheduled cleanings during your agreement period. It also applies to most additional services booked alongside your cleaning. Some specialty services (like commercial diving or emergency response) are priced separately.
Can I add services to my agreement after it starts?
Yes. You can add anodes, running gear checks, or other maintenance services to your regular cleaning visits. These are typically available at discounted rates for agreement customers.
What happens if I need to skip a cleaning?
We understand that plans change. Just let us know in advance and we'll reschedule. We try to be flexible — and agreement customers get priority when rebooking.
Do I need to be present for the cleaning?
No. Most of our agreement customers aren't present during cleaning. We'll notify you when we're on our way and send a brief report after each visit confirming what was done and noting anything worth your attention.
Can I get insurance documentation for my marina?
Absolutely. Man Overboard is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We regularly provide certificates of insurance to marinas and private docks. Just request it when you contact us.
